Its a slow news day, its a slow work day. I have an urge to surf but I think its also a slow day for swell.
This week has been lazy but healthy. I’ve been sleeping alright for once, waking up feeling good about things in general. Im slowly saving up a chunk of change for this cruise Im going on in late August. I’ve been getting a lot done at work, learning a little about webcore and the model view controller.
I think I’m alright with life as long as I feel like I’m getting something done. What is man without work, what is man without a purpose. Right?
I do have little sessions now and then when I think about life and where I’m at, how 30 is creeping up slowly but surely. That is just insane to even ponder. I swing back and forth between maturity and being a 10 year old kid.

It sounds like Iran is shutting down foreigner passports. Sounds like they are arresting opposing generals. Why would we invade Iraq under false pretense but not help these guys out.

So 2,000,000 people took to the streets after they decided that enough was enough and they no longer wanted to live in a sham state.
I think Iran is setting a global precedent that hopefully some day might be followed by the likes of other oppressed but socially changing countries.
In face of a media blackout information streams from Iran through Twitter, blogs, emails, text messaging and generally all corners of technology.
Recently the message leaked “I AM UNDER EXTREME PRESSURE TO ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF THE SHAM ELECTION. THEY HAVE CUT ME OFF FROM ANY COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE AND AM UNDER SURVEILLANCE. I ASK THE PEOPLE TO STAY IN THE STREETS BUT AVOID VIOLENCE”
So I had this extremely vivid dream last night that I woke up from for no good reason and almost blogged it at like 4am.
So Im in a mall, and as close as I can tell its either the Galleria in Los Angeles or that Mile of Shops in Vegas, don’t ask me why, thats just what I was thinking.
Im sitting on a bench with Amber Heard who I am apparently dating by the fact that she keeps asking me for my credit card, putting her hand on mine and we are clearly interested in each other.
So suddenly she gets a phone call and her whole demeanor changes, she shy’s away from me and starts giggling at whoever is on the phone. I’m like “baby whose that” or something stupid and shes like “Oh its Michael” and Im like “Michael Cera?” and out of the blue she goes “Yeah, he’s everything you’re not” then completely starts ignoring me.
So now, clearly down on myself for no good reason other than I apparently lost Amber Heard to Michael Cera, I stroll away and run into Seth Rogan. So Seth and I hit a bar that is inexplicably in the mall, get pretty tanked and then walk down the hall smoking joints and laughing about life in general when all the sudden we run into Michael Cera and Amber only he’s dressed like he was in Juno.
Seth goes “that little fucker” and grabs Michael and we start beating the hell out of him. He’s like “Stop” punch “stealing” puch “peoples” puch “girlfriends” punch “you” punch “hack.”
I find this hilarious, apparently I subconsciously loath Michael Cera and idolize Seth Rogan. But go figure. I wake up, dream over. I never did get to sleep with Amber Heard. Lame.
In retrospect this dream has some pretty insightful points.
1. Amber Heard is amazingly hot.
2. Michael Cera is a hack who rides other peoples waves. No one should be able to make a career out of acting like an awkward shit and then go on and attempt to destroy the Arrested Development movie by thinking you’re too big to sign on. Thats like Fox trying to cancel Firefly. Wait.
3. Seth Rogan is a pimp.
